Greene County High School will send several events to the Co-Ed State Track and Field meet later this week at Drake Stadium.

The varsity boys team qualified five events, while the varsity girls qualified four. Nate Black will be competing individually in the high jump and is part of the shuttle hurdle relay with Landyn Venteicher, Bryce Stalder and Jackson Morton. Stalder will also compete individually in the long jump, while Morton will be in the 110 meter high hurdles and 400 meter low hurdles.

As for the girls, Olivia Shannon will have a busy state track meet with four events. Individually, Shannon is in the long jump and 200 meter dash, as well as part of the 4×100 and 4×200 meter relays. Joining Shannon in both relays are Katrina and Natalie Heupel and Bella Schroeder.

The Co-Ed State Track and Field meet is from May 19th-21st and Raccoon Valley Radio will  have reports from the blue oval with several area high school teams all three days of competition.
