The Perry boys track team should be able to score consistent points this year in the various field events. Ben Daniels and Will Whiton headline a group of athletes looking to contribute on a consistent basis. “Ben and Will went 3-4 at state last year so we know we will be strong there,’ added Perry Coach Cody Eichmeyer, ‘Michael Pentico should be solid in the throwing events along with Walter and Scott James has all the talent to be a prolific high jumper. We just need to work on his mechanics. Plus we will have a core of young guys pushing some of these veterans.”
Perry’s first outdoor track meet of the season is scheduled for Thursday, April 3rd with the Gail Davis Relays.
