
The Dexter Historical Society Museum and Guthrie County Historical Village Museum are partnering together to bring a guided tour to the community.
The Underground Railroad in Guthrie County guided tour will begin at 9am and last until 1pm and take place at the Guthrie County Historical Village Museum on Saturday. In this guided tour participants will learn about the history, routes of the underground railroad system through the county and discuss the trip John Brown made through Iowa in 1859.
Those interested must register using the information provided by today and have a vehicle to move to different sites.
