Jefferson Parks and Recreation has a couple of programs coming up later this month.

There will be a dance camp for kids ages 7-12 on July 21st and 22nd at the Greene County Community Center from 10-11am. Participants will learn the basic movements of dancing, including combinations, leaps and turns. The class will be led by Jordan Kral and the cost is $15 for community center members and $20 for non-members.

Additionally, Art on the Fly’s Joleen Peters will be the instructor for a class called, “Passion for Picasso.” The program is for anyone 6 years and older and it will be held at the community center on July 25th and 26th from 1-2:30pm. The two-day course will teach participants how to have fun and create their own layered masterpieces. The cost is $40 for community center members and $50 for non-members.
