ADM Tigers cross country raced down in Pella on Saturday, and both the boys and girls teams were able to find some strong performances, as the girls team finished first and the boys team finished 4th.

In the girls side, the Tigers were able to get their five scoring runners in with a team score of 29, with all the runners finishing in the top 12. Senior Geneva Timmerman was able to lead the way with a first place finish, grabbing a time of 18 minutes 16 seconds, as she won by nearly 2 minutes to the next closest runner. Freshmen Haley James had a good variety debut with a run of 20 minutes 3 seconds as she placed third, Ella Goodrich finished fifth with the sophomore putting up a time of 20 minutes 11 seconds. Rounding out the scoring was Grace Martens-Sinn who put up a time of 21 minutes 15 seconds for 8th, and Hannah Desmarais finishing 12th with a time of 21 minutes 58 seconds.

On the boys side, Torin Timmerman was able to lead the way with a 6th place finish and an overall time of 16 minutes 51 seconds. Sophomore Keegan Holdmeyer was able to join him with a 13th place finish and a time of 17 minutes 33 seconds.

Both teams will return to the course on Thursday when they run at Iowa State University in Ames.
