The Panora Chamber of Commerce is looking to help local businesses with open houses this month.
Chamber Coordinator April Imming tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the Chamber wants to help the businesses in Panora where they can.
“I think with Covid, a lot of people haven’t done anything in the last few years. So we’re just trying to let people know that if you’re having something, let us know and we’ll share it because we know other people are. So maybe just trying to kind of get the word out.”
Imming says right now there is one open house for Iowa Trust and Savings Bank on December 9th from 10am to 3pm, where they’ll be serving refreshments. The bank is also looking for donations of two-piece pajamas, sweatshirts and sweatpants from sizes large to 3XL, to help keep Panora Specialty Care Residents warm during winter.
