
Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers girls basketball will be back on the court tonight when they take on the North Polk Comets tonight in Polk City. The Tiger girls come in to the match with a 4-3 mark while the home team Comets are 4-1.
ADM is coming off of a tough loss on Friday night to Bondurant 45-38, in a game in which the team shot 31% from the field and got outrebounded 36-18. ADM Senior Nicole Storek will look for a good performance, as she is averaging 18.6 points per game. North Polk dropped their season opener but have won four straight since then, including a 59-34 victory over Gilbert on Friday night. The Comets have four different players that average double figures in points, including senior MaKayla Boatman who is averaging 18.6 points per game.
Historically this is a series that North Polk has had great success, winning all four games since joining the conference in 2020. All of the four matchups have been decided by more than 10 points.
