The Panorama Panther girls basketball team is currently enjoying time off with the winter break. Head coach Kylee Boettcher sat down with me to talk about Panthers’ season so far.
Coach Boettcher was asked about what she thought about the 8-1 start to the season. Coach Boettcher said, “I’m proud of them. There’s been some surprising moments. One of the most interesting thing and surprising things that I learned this part of the year is our offensive production. It’s a different person every night. It’s shocking almost, but it’s just very rewarding. The girls are unselfish enough to share the ball. Not force us shots we don’t need.”
Coach Boettcher would continue, “That’s something that I know coaches, if a team doesn’t have that it can be very frustrating. Just knowing any night that a different girl could score double digits. That’s just something that’s been really eye opening for me. And I’m really excited about that.”
The Panthers will hit the road to take on Pleasantville on Tuesday Jan. 3rd. That tip off is set for 6pm.
