Now that the Chargers are between seasons, we’ll take a look at statistics for this last season. We’ll follow one boy and one girl from the basketball teams, and talk about their stats for the season.

For the boys, junior Anthony Solorzano started in 24 of the teams 25 games, hit 54 of 156 shots from the field for a field goal percentage of 34.6%, drained 27 of 93 from behind the arc for a 3 point percentage of 29% and an effective field goal percentage of 43.3%, then made 26 of 30 from the charity stripe for a free throw percentage of 86.7%. Solorzano also collected 31 offensive and 45 defensive rebounds for a total of 76, 58 assists, 30 steals, 1 block, 31 turnovers, an assist to turnover ratio of 1.87, 58 fouls and 161 points.

For the girls, senior Taylor Carlson started in all 23 of the teams games, shooting 20 of 58 from the field for a field goal percentage of 34.5%, hit 2 of 11 three pointers for a three point percentage of 18.2% and an effective field goal percentage of 36.2%, and hit 7 of 21 free throws for a free throw percentage of 33.3%. She also collected 20 offensive and 31 defensive rebounds for a total of 51, 26 assists, 51 steals, 10 blocks, 38 turnovers, an assist to turnover ratio of .68, 68 fouls and 49 points.
