
Friday, March 3rd
3:19pm: A Traffic Stop in the 300 Block of Brackett Street resulted in Christopher White of Orange City being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
8:48pm: Ryan Blumberg reported an injured deer in the roadway in the 1600 Block of North Elm Street. The deer had expired and the officer removed it from the roadway.
9:29pm: Janice Napolitano reported Barking Dogs in the 1200 Block of West Lincoln Way. Before the officer arrived, she called back and advised them the dogs had been taken inside and she needed no further assistance.
Saturday, March 4th
3:32am: Wes Reever advised a vehicle had side swiped him on 141 in Guthrie County. The vehicle did not stop and was now heading north towards Jefferson on Hwy. 4. The officer located the vehicles and stopped them near Elm and Ram Drive. All information was gathered and forwarded back to Guthrie County.
3:41am: A Traffic Stop Near Elm and Ram Drive resulted in Ever Joseph Reyes Molina of Waukee being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Driver’s License.”
9:48am: A Traffic Stop in the 300 Block of West Russell Street resulted in Ellen Gruntorad of Storm Lake being cited for, “Dark Windows.”
2:50pm: A Traffic Stop near Elm and Mulberry Streets resulted in Lelsie Mendez of Denison being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
3:34pm: A Traffic Stop in the 200 Block of West Adams Street resulted in Tonika Clark of Stuart being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
4:25pm: Anjanette Weber requested an officer at 206 North Oak Street, for a reported trespasser. The officer learned the subject had been staying with the previous renter, who had moved away. He advised he would gather his belongings and leave the property.
5:30pm: Nicole Tasler reported the Theft of a couch from the garage at 304 South Walnut Street. The officer is investigating.
11:13pm: Brittany Olson requested an officer meet her at the Bomgaars Parking lot. The officer could not locate her in the area. She later called back and advised that she was fine and no longer needed assistance.
11:42pm: Roger Tinkle reported his friend was loaned his vehicle, but has not returned it to him. He advised he believed the vehicle to be at 777 Wild Rose Lane. The officer located the vehicle and spoke to the friend, who provided text messages about using the vehicle. She was advised to return the vehicle immediately.
Sunday, March 5th
3:57am: Scott Foresman spoke with an officer about a female in Perry reporting him for Harassment. He believed it to be a False Report. The officer advised him to contact Perry PD, since it occurred there.
10:04am: A Traffic Stop in the 1300 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Anastasia Martin of Fort Dodge being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
11:42am: Mary Tannehill reported an Open Door at 502 West Mahlon Street. The officer learned the property had recently changed hands and the new owner was contacted. All was fine inside the rental.
12:47pm: A Traffic Stop in the 800 block of North Grimmell Road resulted in Kaylan Reames of Rutlund being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
1:24pm: A Traffic Stop in the 100 Block of East Reed Street resulted in Donald Anderson of Missouri Valley being cited for, “Dark Windows.”
2:17pm: A caller advised of construction waste blowing all over the area in the 200 Block of West Washington Street. The officer picked up the debris and placed it back on the property, placing a large rock on it to hold it from the wind.
2:18pm: Bruce Binkley reported a possible No Contact Order Violation at 507 East Garfield. The officer determined a violation had not occurred.
3:42pm: A caller advised of the Wells Fargo Sign, near Elm and Washington, was flapping in the wind. The dispatcher contacted bank officials about the issue.
4:36pm: Nick Parris reported damage to his windshield, while parked at 400 East McKinley. The officer took the report.
5:44pm: Oly’s Corner requested an officer at 208 West Lincoln Way Street for a Shoplifting Event. The officer learned one subject had left the area and one had stayed. The males had left the business with $104.00 worth of Vaping Products they had not paid for. Christian Michael O’Brien, 19 of Jefferson was arrested and charged with, “Person under 21 Using Vape Products – Simple, and Theft 5th Degree – Simple.” The officers caught up with the other male involved and Eric Nathan Ranker, 18 of Jefferson, was arrested and charged with, “Person under 21 Using Vape Products – Simple, and Theft 5th Degree – Simple.”
7:10pm: Bryce Delaney requested an officer at 509 South Olive Street Apt. B, for an argument between him and his girlfriend. The female had left the area after the call was placed. The officer spoke to Delaney and gave advice on fixing the issues.
11:42pm: An officer assisted the Gc Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 1200 Block of Westwood Drive.
