The Department of Natural Resources will hold a hunters education class in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area but it’s coming up soon.
The class will take place from 10am to 1pm on March 25th at the Washington Township School in Minburn. They will teach hunter education along with basic survival and first aid skills, wildlife identification, wildlife management, hunting laws and much more. Iowa law requires that anyone born after January 1, 1972 must be certified in hunter education before they are eligible to purchase an Iowa hunting license. To attend this event, students must complete online course work and bring the voucher with them. For more information contact the DNR.
