There will be some scheduled Easter egg hunts around Dallas County this weekend

In Adel, there will be an egg hunt from 3 to 5pm tomorrow at Kinnick-Feller Field that is sponsored by the Adel Kiwanis Club. People will be encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the The Good Samaritan Food Pantry and then take a picture with the Easter Bunny, get their face painted and view the Adel Fire Department’s fire trucks. 

There will be a “Dog Easter Egg Hunt,” at 1pm tomorrow at the Adel Dog Park, hosted by the Adel Parks and Recreation. They will separate small and big dogs and then fill Easter eggs with gluten-free dog treats and hide them around the park for dogs to find. Pet owners will need to have their dog updated with the latest vaccinations to participate. The event is free and open to the public.
