Greene County hosted Boone, Ogden, and Perry in a high school boys’ golf quadrangular Monday at Jefferson Community Golf Course. Sunny, but extremely windy conditions met the golfers with the Rams winning the nine hole match with 176 strokes. Boone was second at 190, followed by Ogden with 194, and Perry didn’t have enough players for a team score.

Junior Jack Hansen shot 37 for the nine hole round for medalist honors as the Rams went one-two. Another Ram junior shot 44 and was the runner-up medalist in Nathan Behne. Cody McCollom’s 47 and Parker Fitzpatrick’s 48 were the other two scores counting in the team total.

In girls’ golf, the Rams lost a dual meet to ADM at the River Valley Golf Course north of Adel by a 201-258 score. Maggie Mikkelson shot 61 to lead the Rams with 62 by Taylor Johnston, 64 for Maya Telleen, and 71 by Hallie Monthei. For ADM, Kendal Book was medalist at 48 and Riley Keller was runner-up at 49. Cecelia Gardiner also shot 49 for the Tigers. Rams coach Heath Telleen said the course was tough and the wind was strong.
