The Mustang girls soccer got the action started first and they got a convincing win over the Oskaloosa Indians by a score of 10-0. They stay undefeated in conference play with a (5-0) record with two games left against Newton and Indianola. Norwalk is chasing the Mustangs in second place and two games behind them in the standings. DCG could outright lock up the Little Hawkeye Conference regular season championship with a win over Newton on the road today.
The boys soccer got their 10th win after defeating Oskaloosa by a score of 7 to 1. They are also in the drivers seat to win the Little Hawkeye regular season conference championship outright with a win over Newton tonight at home. The Mustangs are (5-0) undefeated in conference play and Norwalk is (4-1) in second place with one regular season game left in conference play.
