
The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday morning.
The Board approved a fireworks permit for a Yale resident and payroll change notices for Information Technologies Technician Nicolas Thorn, Secondary Roads Department employee Chad Herron and Assistant County Attorney Zoee Risdahl per their discussion with county attorney Dana Minteer. They did table one payroll change notice, choosing to table it until Kelli Smith started in her position as a clerk for the county auditor’s office.
The Board then approved changes to the Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management plan after a discussion with Guthrie County Engineer Josh Sebern, and approved the fiscal year 2024 Iowa Municipalities Workers’ Compensation renewal after the discussion with State Street Insurance Owner Becky Benton. The meeting ended in a closed session with legal counsel pertaining to the Law Enforcement Center, before adjourning.
