The Panorama Panther softball team was in double-header action against the Earlham Cardinals.

Both teams were looking to get back on track. Both lost in blowout fashion. Panorama lost 14-4 to East Union and Earlham lost 14-7 to Interstate 35. In the first game, the Cardinals were lighting up the scoreboard. Earlham managed to put in seven runs in the first inning. That would give them a big 7-0 after the first. They would add two more runs in the second. After two innings they Panthers were down 9-1. Earlham would put the game away after the third, scoring four runs to give them the 13-1 win. The second game was more of the same as Earlham would win 14-0. This would drop the Panthers to 7-13 on the season.

Panorama will have some time off. They won’t hit the diamond again until Monday. They’ll be in a rematch with cross county rival, AC/GC. First pitch is set for 5:30pm in Panora.
