Greene County had two players earn first team Heart of Iowa Activities Conference All-Conference softball recognition with three more on the second team and two others on the honorable mention list. Coach Tom Kennedy’s Rams were 12-2 in the conference and finished in second place in the eight team league, their best finish since 2015. Overall, the Rams were 22-7 and ranked number 13 in the final Class 3A poll from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

Pitcher Emma Hoyle and centerfielder Olivia Shannon were on the All-Conference first team. Left fielder Alexa Peters, catcher Emma Stream, and third baseman Payton Kokenge were second team selections while first baseman Paige Teeples and shortstop Becca Anderson are on the honorable mention list. Anderson is a freshman, Kokenge is a sophomore, and the other five are seniors.
