Tuesday, August 23rd
6:21am: Vince Ratliff requested an officer at 102 West Vest Street, due to an argument with a family member. The officer mediated the issues with the pair.
2:41pm: Paul Neuhaus reported Unauthorized Charges on his credit card, after staying in Jefferson at a Motel. The officer is investigating.
3:29pm: Chop Gibson reported debris in the intersection at Elm and 220th Street. The officer removed the item from the roadway.
3:58pm: Kelsey Reed turned in Vaping Products she had located in her Juvenile’s sons possession. Charges are pending.
4:25pm: An officer responded to a Fire Alarm Activation at 100 Ram Drive. No fire was located.
5:13pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 300 Block of North Maple Street.
6:11pm: Vince Ratliff requested an officer back at 102 West Vest to remove a family member from his residence. The officer explained to Ratliff that since the subject has lived with him for several months, he would need to do a Legal Eviction.
10:34pm: Krisaley Johnson reported a dog, which had been tied outside all day, in the 400mBlock of East State Street. The officer was tied up on another call, but checked on the animal after getting fed up. The officer did not locate the reported animal.
11:01pm: Dory Wilsey reported children she was babysitting, did not feel safe going home with the mother. The officer spoke to the children and the parents. The children did not have valid reasons to not go with the mother. They left the area.
11:05pm: Evan Pettit reported a neighbor at 1308 Ferguson Circle, had made threats towards his wife in the past. The officer advised them to call as this is occurring in the future.
11:38pm: A caller advised of fireworks being set off near Oak and South Streets. The officer was busy at the time the call came in. The officer checked the area later, and did not locate any fireworks in the area.
Wednesday, August 24th
6:03am: An officer responded to a report of an Audible Alarm sounding at 307 South Wilson Ave. The officer met with a keyholder and located no issues in the church.
8:01am: A Traffic Stop near Elm and Washington Street resulted in Bryant Margetta of Jefferson being cited for, “Driving While Suspended and Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”
10:00am: Caitlin Pettit reported Verbal harassment from a neighbor at 1308 Ferguson Circle. The officer is investigating.
4:14pm: An officer began an investigation into threats being made to a juvenile in the 400 Block of East State Street.
4:55pm: LeRoy Calvert reported missing/lost items from his wallet at 100 Ram Drive. The officer is investigating.
6:02pm: Renee Ross reported a Stray Dog in her yard at 304 South Oak Street. The officer was unable to catch the animal, as it would run from the officer.
7:08pm: Sam Schmitt reported a fight occurring at 407 East State Street. The officer spoke to all parties involved and determined it had not been a physical fight occurring.
7:13pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance and Medical Examiner with an Unattended Death in the 700 Block of North Cedar Street.
8:10pm: Linda Smith requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 100 Block of West Vest Street. The officer found the subject to be fine.
10:40pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 401 East Central Ave. The business was secure.
10:59pm: An officer located an Open Door at 509 East Gallop Road. The business was secured by the officer.
