Another night in the pool for the Jayettes, and another win. Perry faced Algona in a head to head meet on Tuesday night and they came away with the victory, 91-64, to move them to 8-0, a historical mark for the Perry swimming program, allowing them to continue their red hot start to the season. The Jayettes had 8 first place finishes and 5 personal best times on the night. Emily Dowd, Addison Huntington, Lily Riley, and Jenna Nelson took first place in the medley relay. Quin-Mahler Moreno took first in the 200 meter freestyle with a time of 1:58:96. Addison Huntington took 2nd in the individual 200 individual medley. That was a PR for Huntington by 1.42 seconds. Emily Dowd took 3rd place in the 50 meter freestyle with a 28:96. She was able to PR by .01 seconds.

Perry will have a little bit of time off before their next meet as they will travel to Fort Dodge for the Fort Dodge Swim Meet on Thursday, September 21st at Fort Dodge High School. They will look to continue to roll and move to 9-0 at that meet next week.
