Tomorrow will be lots going on for Homecoming with Greene County High School.

Student Council Vice President Georgia Osterson says high school students will be dismissed at 1pm for a pep rally in the gym. The lineup for the Homecoming parade will be at 1:30pm at the middle school gravel parking lot. The parade begins at 2pm going north on Chestnut Street from the middle school to the downtown square. After the parade is the coronation ceremony about 3pm on the south side of the Greene County Courthouse.

This year’s theme is “Rams Got Game” and Student Council President Gavin Vander Linden talks about how they came up with the board game-style theme.

“The officers had a meeting before the school year started because we needed to get the ball rolling on some things, because we didn’t have a whole lot of time to plan it this year. So we had that meeting, we had a few ideas that we tossed around, but this is the one that we liked the best.”

Tomorrow is the final dress up day with “Checkers” as “Red and Black Spirit Day” and fans are encouraged to wear their Ram gear. The Homecoming Court, along with the king and queen will be announced prior to the Homecoming football game against Carroll Kuemper Catholic at 6:45pm. The game can be heard on KGRA 98.9FM with coverage to begin at 6:30pm and kickoff slated for 7pm.
