The West Central Valley Wildcats volleyball team will be having their senior night tonight at West Central Valley High School as they will take on the Interstate 35 Road Runners. The Wildcats will honor 5 seniors on the night which include Breanna Powell, who has been a captain all year for West Central Valley, Jolie Sechrist, Anna Byrnes, Lynni Brown, and Addison Ferris. These girls have been a big part of the Wildcats on the volleyball court this season and all their hard work will get recognized before tonight’s game vs Interstate 35.

West Central Valley was last in action over the weekend this past Saturday in the Riverside tournament. The Wildcats went 0 for 3 in the tournament. They fell to Clarinda, West Monica, and Glidden-Ralston all 2-0 in each match. Against Clarinda, West Central Valley lost the first set 21-11. They lost the second set in similar fashion 21-7. In their next matchup against West Monica, West Central Valley put on a solid display but unfourtanetly fell just a little bit short in sets 1 and 2. West Monica won the first set 22-20, before falling 21-16 in the second set. The Wildcats then fell to Glidden-Ralston 21-11 in the first set, and 21-17 in the second.
