The Stuart Fire Department is getting ready for their annual fundraiser.

Assistant Fire Chief Stephen Martinson says that the french toast supper and raffle got started in the early 2000’s, and has been a hit with the community ever since. The supper will be from 5:30-8pm tomorrow and is a free will donation meal.

Martinson adds that there are two prizes for the raffle. The first is a quarter of beef that has been donated, with the winner needing to cover the processing fee at the meat locker. The second prize is a CVA 350 Legend rifle that the department purchased. Tickets can be purchased from any Stuart Firefighter for $5 or $20 for five tickets. Martinson mentions that proceeds from the supper and raffle will go into the department’s funds to be used to purchase various equipment.
