2022-winter-festival

There’s still time to sign up to be part of the Christmas tree display at the 4th Annual Winter Festival: Celebration of Trees in Jefferson.

Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says the two-day event will begin on Friday, December 1st from 4-7pm at the Jefferson Elks Lodge and then again on Saturday, December 2nd from 10am-4pm. Wetrich points out registration forms are still being accepted or anyone who wants to submit a decorated tree.

“We love this event. It does feel like a little slice of the Hallmark channel when you walk into the Elks (Lodge) and you see 45 Christmas trees or interpretations of Christmas trees. The creativity last year was incredible, it’s been kind of bumping up each year, and we’re really excited for yet another year. So get a tree submitted, whatever creative vision you have for a tree and how you want to decorate it or make your own. It’s really awesome and mark your calendar.”
