The name of the victim who had life-threatening injuries from a rollover crash on Wednesday near Perry has been identified.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Jerry Lambert was heading west on Highway 141 around 4pm when he lost control of his vehicle and rolled it several times into a ditch in the 21000 block of Highway 141. 

Lambert suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken by air ambulance at the scene to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Perry First Responders, Perry Police Department, and Perry and Bouton Fire Departments, and Dallas County EMS responded to the scene.
