The 47th Annual Bike Ride to Rippey should be one of the warmest days for the event and there’s lots of food choices for participants and the public to enjoy in Rippey.
Nancy Hanaman is one of the organizers and says the Rippey United Methodist Church has partnered with the Rippey Baseball Commission to serve a baked potato bar, with a variety of toppings, along with desserts and beverages at the church.
Hanaman notes the Rippey Lions Club will have their roast beef sundaes, including mashed potatoes, roast beef, gravy and a cherry tomato on top, along with large dessert bars, chili and beverages. They will be in the community room of the Rippey Public Library and Community Building. Hanaman points out each organization will be ready to serve bikers and others by 10am with minimal fees as fundraisers for their respective causes and projects.
Finally, Hanaman says the Thirsty Pig will have a beer tent set up on Main Street, across from the library.
