As the West Central Valley boys prepare for the 2023-2024 Track & Field season, Wildcat throwers prepare to return to the throwers’ circle for another year of Wildcat track. For shot put, sophomore Tyler Abbott and seniors Dalton Clayton and Ian Hoffmann return for another season with the Wildcats as sophomore Abbott lead the Wildcats in shot put throwing for a record high of 34 feet 7 inches, followed by senior Clayton throwing 31 feet and 9 inches with Hoffmann behind with 27 feet and 4 inches.
For discus, junior Zach Teague and sophomore Connor Beane prepare to compete in the throwers’ circles as Teague was second in farthest throw in discus last season throwing 110 feet and 11 inches with sophomore Beane having thrown for 69 feet and 9 inches.
The Wildcat throwers and the rest of the Wildcat boys Track team prepare for the Earlham Early Bird as the Wildcats compete against 11 other teams on Tuesday March 26th.
