Dallas Center – Grimes boys ands girls basketball will be discussed in tonight’s Raccoon Valley Bank Dallas County PM Sports Page.

The boys are gearing up for 4A state quarterfinal action on Wednesday morning against Cedar Rapids – Kennedy, who comes in undefeated and the number 1 team in 4A. DCG will be the 8 seed as they make their 3rd state tournament appearance in the last four year, and first as a team playing at the states highest classification at 4A.

The girls made their 4th consecutive state tournament appearance last week but fell short in their state quarterfinal against North Polk. DCG ended the year at 20-4 and will graduate the most successful senior class in program history.
