The Jefferson Rotary Club is now accepting grant applications.

The annual grant cycle is open to any non-profit organization with preference given to projects that will impact a larger portion of the community. Past President and Auction Chair Susan Laehn says the Rotary Club is only able to provide grant funds because of the generosity of the community during their annual charity auction, which last year raised over $64,000 in gross profits.

Laehn adds the Jefferson Rotary Club also conducted a fund-a-need request with this year’s theme in mind from the Rotary Club International President of “Create Hope in the World” with promoting mental health wellbeing. Laehn says the community raised over $8,000 for suicide prevention and mental health resources during the auction fundraiser after Greene County School District Licensed Mental Health Therapist Kyle Kinne spoke about those same issues happening at the two school districts.

The deadline to submit applications is March 31st. Click the link below to access an application and the guidelines. Completed applications can be submitted to the Rotary Club of Jefferson, P.O. Box 105 in Jefferson or emailed to Laehn, with that information can be found below.
