The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Soccer team battle hard, but fell short to Des Moines Roosevelt.

The Tigers were in Des Moines on Monday taking on the Roughriders. Des Moines Roosevelt scored first to open up the scoring and led 1-0 at the half. Each team scored a goal in the second half as the Roughriders held off the Tigers to win 2-1.

With the win, Des Moines Roosevelt improves to 6-2 (3-0 in the Alliance Conference South), while ADM drops to 3-6 overall (0-2 Raccoon River Conference). The Tigers start a four game home-stand at Tiger Stadium tomorrow, facing off against Winterset at 6pm.
