early-voting-2

Early voting is now underway for the June Primary Election.

According to the Greene County Auditor’s Office, eligible voters can cast their ballots now in the east rotunda of the Greene County Courthouse now through June 3rd. That location will be open from 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. The Auditor’s Office will be open one special Saturday on June 1st from 7am-3pm for in person early voting. The polls on Election Day, June 4th, will be open from 7am-8pm.

Greene County Auditor Billie Jo Hoskins says eligible, pre-registered voters will get to cast one ballot for either the Democratic, Republican, or Libertarian Parties. Only the candidates from that political party will appear on the ballot. Those voters must show proof of identification before being issued a ballot. Those individuals who are not pre-registered in their current voting precinct, individuals who are registering to vote on Election Day and those who changed their precinct, must also provide proof of residency, along with identification.
