More good news for Greene County residents, both public swimming pools are set to open on the same day.

According to the Grand Junction Municipal Pool staff, the pool will be open on Tuesday for the season. The hours are noon-1pm for adult swim and open swim is from 1-6pm everyday. A daily pass is $3 per person and kids two and younger are free. A single season pass is $40 and a family pass is $60.

Additionally, the Jefferson Municipal Pool will also be open for the season starting Tuesday. The pool will be open daily from 11:30am-1pm for adult lap swim, 1-5pm is open swim and family swim time is from 5-7pm. The daily admission price is $6 for adults and kids up to 17 years old is $5. Seasonal passes include a child pass that is from ages three to 17 is $70, senior rate for those 65 and older is $60, an adult pass is $85 and a family pass is $150.
