An adult activity is planned at the Paton Public Library tomorrow.
Library Director Kimberly Bohnet says there are still spots available for the next edition of “Sip, Socialize and Create” as Rhea Yelle will be leading a painting class that participants will get to paint on a canvas with a US flag set in the background of a quiet forest. Bohnet tells Raccoon Valley Radio she was inspired to start this ongoing program when she saw a painted picture in the Paton Post Office and that her mail carrier, Yelle, had done the painting.
The fee is $35 per person, which includes all the materials for the painting, along with wine and door prizes to give away. Bohnet notes that the past two programs have been filled in December and February. Tomorrow’s program is at 1pm at the library and participants must be over 18. Contact the library to sign up at 515-968-4559.
