The Adel Sweet Corn Festival officially begins tomorrow and Raccoon Valley Radio will be making an appearance.

The 45th Annual Sweet Corn Festival, 301 S 10th Street,  in Adel is in the final stages of preparation before opening up tomorrow for signature events. Tomorrow will include corn shucking starting at 4:30pm on the southside of the Adel Police/Fire Department Stations. 

Culligan Water and Corner Tap will serve beverages, and the crowning of the Sweet Corn Princess will follow at 6:30pm. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be on location from 4-7pm. Saturday is when the bulk of events will happen, and a full list can be found here.
