
The Panora City Council will meet in regular session Monday night.
The Council will consider for approval a liquor license for Dollar General, then discuss the topic of portable storage containers and adding a new chapter to City Code regarding portable storage containers with Building Inspector Jason VanAusdall, then discuss updating Chapter 144 of the Building Codes. They will also consider for approval the first reading of an ordinance repealing Chapter 144 Building Codes and replacing it with a new Chapter 144 Building Codes, adopting by reference the 2021 edition of the International Codes and other related codes.
The Council will then set a public hearing for comments in regard to the repeal of Chapter 144 Building Codes, then consider for approval a resolution naming Panora Public Library Board members. They will consider a request regarding possession and consumption of alcohol at Michael Mills Park during the Panorama Junior Class Fundraiser softball tournament, and a Community Development Building Grant in the amount of $14,192.
