Photos belong to the ADM Dance Team

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Dance Team won big at the regional competition over the weekend.

The Tigers performed at the Iowa Regional Dance Team Union Competition in Newton this past Saturday, where ADM was featured in four events. The Tigers placed fifth in Varsity Pom, second in JV Pom, and were named the regional champs in the Varsity Jazz and Hoopla division. Dance Coach Jana Morrissey tells Raccoon Valley Radio that she was shocked but so happy to win in those two categories, given that ADM attended a different regional competition this year, as the last couple of years, they were at Johnston High School. 

The dance team will now perform at the state competition at the Wells Fargo Arena and HyVee Hall in Des Moines on December 6th in three categories of Pom, Contemporary, and Hoopla.
