
The Perry City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.
The council is looking to adopt a snow and ice control policy for the Perry Public Works Department with the incoming weather. Other items on the agenda seeking approval include a pay application for the Automated Weather Observing System project, a pay application for the Iowa Street Stormwater Wetland project, a resolution to approve tax abatement applications for residential construction completed in 2024 in the City of Perry, and a resolution to appoint newspaper for official publications and notices.
Additional items on the agenda up for consideration pertain to a resolution to make council appointments for various positions and committees, appointments and reappointments to various boards and commissions, making mayor appointments for various city positions, as well as setting a time and place for the regular city council meeting that conflict with the observance of holidays for 2025. The meeting will be held in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building, 1102 Willis Avenue, in Perry Monday evening at 6pm. A virtual option is available below.
