The AC/GC Chargers got the winter sports season started this last week.

The girls basketball team hosted their season opener on Monday night, bringing the IKM-Manning Wolves to town. The Chargers won the game 73-49, with all five starters scoring in the double digits. The team was led on that front by sophomore Stella Largent who had 16 points, followed closely by junior Karli Kautzky and senior Shay Lemke who both scored 15. The season continues next week, as all winter sports teams have some action.
