Greene County was a 61-45 non-conference boys’ basketball winner on Monday night in Panora vs. Panorama. The win was the first this season for Coach Chris Nelson’s Rams as they improved to 1-3 on the season. The Panthers played for the fourth time at home in as many games and they also stand at 1-3.

Senior Caden Mc Collom scored a career best 13 points and senior Isaac Carman added a season best 11 points. Nine Rams scored points with juniors Nick Madsen and Rafe Michaelsen recording eight points apiece. The Rams made 24 of 59 shooting from the floor with three made three-point shots. Greene County made six of seven free throw attempts and the Rams turned the ball over 28 times.

Panorama senior A.J. Draper led all scorers with 23 points and was the only Panther in double figures. Panorama hit on just 11 of 42 field goal attempts. They also made a trio of three-point shots and had 23 turnovers.

Monday’s game was heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Thursday the Rams  play a girl/boy doubleheader in Glidden vs. Glidden-Ralston and those games will also be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.racconvalleyradio.com.
