2025-chocolate-walk

A yearly event featuring a delicious treat is happening today in the Perry community.

The Perry Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 22nd Annual Chocolate Walk in the downtown area from 10am-3pm. According to Chamber Director Lynsi Pasuti, 20 businesses are opening their doors to customers, and handing out free chocolates. She is hoping that people will come out to support local businesses following the difficulties in 2024.

“This past year has been a challenge for Perry as a community, (even) in the business community. We’ve lost several businesses, but at the same time, we’ve had new businesses come in and it’s just a great tradition, it’s a Valentine’s Day themed event, but it’s always just chocolate in February and shopping and all of the fun stuff there. So grab some friends and get out and see what’s new!”

Of the 20 businesses participating, Pasutti mentions there are five new ones associated with the event this year including Spring Valley Honey Farms, TCG Planet, Sips on 2nd, Misfits and More, and The Farm Store and Bakery. She adds that tickets can be purchased for $10 at any of the participating businesses today and encourages people to get their passports stamped at each organization they visit for a chance to win a grand prize. Pasutti reveals that completed passports can be dropped off at the Perry Public Library. The full list of businesses participating are below.
