The Adel City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

The council will review and look to take action on a resolution to adopt plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Laboratory and the Administration Building project. The council will also consider approving a resolution awarding a construction contract for the two projects. Other items on the agenda seeking approval include a resolution authorizing a lease agreement amendment between the City of Adel and the Adel-DeSoto Soccer Club, and another lease agreement between the City of Adel and the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Youth Football Team, along with adding two designated handicap parking spaces on 9th Street and Main Street.

The council will also set a public hearing for proposed property tax levies and new taxpayer statements. Tonight’s meeting will take place at Adel City Hall, 301 S. 10th Street, at 6pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will have the results of the meeting later this week.
