Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is hosting the second of three Ag Coffee talking events on Friday.

Program Director Shelby Van Horn says that they will be hosting the event at the Extension Office, with ISU Extension Field Agronomist Mike Witt to present on soil fertility. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio why people should come and talk with Witt at the event.

“Just a great opportunity to come hear about soil fertility, bounce ideas off of Mike, and get to meet some other local ag advocates in the community.”

Van Horn mentions that the event is free to attend, and that anyone interested in the topic or having some coffee and conversation may attend. The Ag Coffee will be from 9:30-11am in the Extension Office.
