Owen Myers led Perry basketball in points this year as the club won 13 games.  It was a pleasant surprise the year Owen was able to put together said Coach Morris.  The senior upped his points per game by 6 from 12.3 to 18.6.  It looked to be a tall task for Owen to reach the 1000 point club before the year started.  He reached that milestone as he also moved into 5th all time in Perry basketball scoring.  Owen also broke the single game scoring record against South Hamilton on February 7th pouring in 47 points.

The hardwork in the offseason showed when he took the floor.  Owen was second on the team with 6 rebounds per game and 3.1 steals a game.  He was efficient from the field as he made 51.5% of his shots a team high.
