Today the West Central Valley Wildcat girls soccer team wrap up their first official week of practice. The Wildcat girls look to bounce back after ending the season at 7-11 falling to Des Moines Christian in the second round of the playoffs.
The Wildcats look to just continue to improve on the foundation built last season as West Central Valley girls soccer only graduated one senior last season, Sara Titkova. Now a junior, Maleah Speichinger, looks to fill Titkova’s shoes as Speichinger was the second highest scorer for the Wildcats last season ending up with 17 goals scored shooting 40.5% for shots on goal.
The first week of practice comes to a close today as the Wildcat girls soccer team prepare for their first scrimmage of the season next Friday as the Wildcats host Greene County.
