The spring season for Esports has begun for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs as the Mustangs prepare for battle on the virtual race track today against the Cedar Rapids Kennedy Cougars. The Esports spring season features three games, Mario Kart, Valorant, and League of Legends.

The Mustang Esports team had a successful winter season claiming the Overwatch2 championship. For Mario Kart, the Mustangs represent Class 2A District 1 and face off against schools like Cedar Rapids Kennedy, Ottumwa and Waukee Northwest. Looking to carry the success from one game to another, the Mustangs race against the Cougars today to help kick off the spring Esports season for the Mustangs.
