
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Soccer Teams were in action taking on a Raccoon River Conference opponent on Thursday, coming up a little short.
ADM battled against North Polk as the girls fell 2-0 and the boys were defeated 5-3. For the girls, the Tigers were on the road in Alleman with the game scoreless after the first half, and the Comets were able to capture two goals in the second half to carry them to their second win of the season.
ADM boys stayed in Adel to welcome in North Polk. The Comets got two goals in the first half, but the Tigers tallied one, and was able to score two more goals in the second half, but North Polk unleashed three to win the game 5-3.
Both ADM squads fall to 0-2 to begin the year as the girls will host their first game in Adel on Monday versus Marshalltown. The boys will be off until Friday, where they participate in their home tournament against five other teams.
