The 4th ranked team in 2A Girls Soccer came to Dewey Field last night.  The Jayettes battled, but just couldn’t keep the ball out of their own defensive zone as North Polk won 8-0.  Perry surrendered just one first half goal coming in the 29th minute.  Freshman, Addison Perks, made her debut in net. She was challenged all evening and in the second half the Comets connected on 7 goals.  Coach Hernandez played short two starters with multiple girls attending last night’s track meet.

Perry falls to 1-2.  The Jayettes travel to Des Moines and will play at Mediacom Stadium on the campus of Drake University tomorrow as part of the Des Moines Lincoln Invite.  Kickoff is set for 4:30P for the first match.
