The West central Valley School Board met in regular session Wednesday night.

The Board approved the fiscal year 2025-26 budget, along with the 2025-26 certified staff master contract and contract list, and a teaching agreement with Morningside University. They also approved the Class of 2025 Graduation list, the purchase of transportation software, and a secure vestibule change order. The Board then tabled a decision on the 2025-26 academic calendar for the next regular meeting, after making some changes that they wanted to have teachers review once again. Other items that were discussed included possibly starting a Silver Cord program, and a pre-school wrap around care / before and after school care program.
