*Correction*   Laura Uthe, Adel, was driving on Fairgrounds Road, when a vehicle driven by Alexander Buck, Des Moines, was backing out of a parking space.  Ms Uthe stopped to allow Mr. Buck room to back up.   Mr. Buck did not see her vehicle and backed into Ms. Uthe’s car.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $1000 to Mr. Buck’s car and $2500 to Ms. Uthe’s car.  The description of the accident was incorrectly listed in the news report earlier.

April 16th

Julio Ruiz, age 22, 1915 5th St, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Violation Of Probation Terms.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
