The AC/GC Chargers had a strong showing at the Bob Clark Relays in Audubon Tuesday evening.
The boys team won the meet with 114 total points, while the girls team finished in 6th place with 64 points. The boys finished with three gold medals, six silver medals, and one bronze medal, along with 10 other scoring results. The gold medals came from the sprint medley team, Brexton Schneider’s performance in the 110 meter high hurdles, and the 4X100 meter relay team. The silver medals were secured by Mike Fuller in the discus and shot put, the shuttle hurdle relay, Tate Fever’s performance in the 400 meter dash, the 4X200 meter relay and Dean Vela’s finish in the 200 meter dash. The lone bronze medal was won by Eli Madsen in the 200 meter dash.
The girls secured two gold medals, one silver medal and two bronze medals. The gold medals were won by the distance medley relay team and Ava Campbell in the 800 meter run. The silver medal was secured by Cadence Petersen in the 400 meter run, while the bronze medals were collected by Cadence Petersen in the high jump and Meranda Gruber in the 100 meter dash.
