A student from Perry High School has been selected as the recipient of a scholarship from Raccoon Valley Radio.

Senior Brissa Sandoval is receiving a one-year $300 Business and Broadcasting Scholarship following graduation this spring. She is involved with the National Honors Society, Perry Band, the Drama Department, Interact Club, and TRIO. Athletically, Sandoval participates in football cheer, soccer, and volleyball. 

She sits at a 4.0 Grade Point Average as she plans to attend Iowa State University for Supply Chain Management and International Business. Sandoval tells Raccoon Valley Radio that her mother instilled motivation in her to chase whatever dream she is after. She was presented with the scholarship at Perry’s Senior Awards Night on Wednesday by Raccoon Valley Radio General Manager John McGee.
